Sandwich made and into 4myearth wrap at 8.00am on Saturday - crammed into my backpack and with the sun beating down it was going to be interesting to see how my sandwich was going to hold up. I had seen the state of previous glad-wrapped sandwiches on other MTB rides. My intention was to have my lunch break at the only aid-station some 52 kms into the ride and prior to the last hill climb but didn't eat it (the sausages on the BBQ looked very inviting). So at the end of the ride and some 8 hours later I had my sandwich at the finish line. I unwrapped the wrap to find my sandwich in fantastic shape - it was still as fresh as when first made and tasted great, so thumbs up to 4myearth and I will be using these from now on - what a fantastic innovation.

Something so simple but SO effective.
The food are securely packed in these wraps and pockets and the lunch bag keeps all the lunch in good order. I like how the lunch bag keeps the items up right when packing the food in the children’s back pack. The wraps, pockets and lunch bags are easy to clean and do not harbour food in any creases. I love the colour options of the lunch bags and the option I have now, NOT to use Glad wrap !!

The parcel with our sandwich wraps arrived yesterday - great service, and my three daughters think they're "cool". I heard about '4myearth' through an ad in a local paper. It was in amongst various other articles and ads on "green living". I don't like to use plastic, and was wondering what the alternatives were to paper, (which does add up financially, plus often the so-called lunch paper is waxed).

The stuff only took a few days to arrive. I really like the lunch bag. It is a good size to fit everything in for my daughter's lunch. The snack pockets are great and I will order more. The sandwich wraps are excellent for wrapping up fragile fruits, like starfruit or grapes, so they stay looking good and don't get as battered in the boys lunch boxes. Thanks for the great service.

I take a packed lunch to work every day. I make my lunch the evening before. It sits in the fridge all night, then on my desk at work until lunchtime. I was nervous about the sandwich wrap keeping my sammies fresh that long. However, I have been very impressed! My sandwiches keep very fresh without going soggy overnight. Even plastic wrap can't do that. They work superbly well.

I’m emailing to thank you for introducing me to your wonderful lunch wraps and bags and feedback from the expert (my 11 yr old son) says they keep this sandwiches and pita pockets as fresh as cling film. The best thing is I have further reduced my carbon footprint and am no-longer guilty of using cling film and creating more landfill so I am very happy about that. Also the fact that the Velcro holds it all in tight also helps to keep it fresh and being able to throw then in the washing machine is fantastic ( or in a hurry wash under the tap and dry with a tea towel) Good on you for providing this wonderful product.

I was reminded by your article on the front page of the Wanaka Messenger that I wanted to send you my reference. I met you at the A&P Show and told you how impressed I was with your eco wraps. I even take them tramping! Food stays fresh & cool in them, not soggy like plastic. They save space in my handbag rather than using bulky containers and are great in my son’s lunchbox. I no longer fish cling wrap out of school uniform pockets or the washing machine. I highly recommend them. They wash and dry quickly and have withstood daily use for over 3 months with no signs of wearing.

We were given some 4MyEarth eco-friendly cotton sandwich bags to try out on a recent mountaineering trip. I like the idea, cut down on the endless plastic bags we all seem to use. You can only re-use zip lock bags so many times. These however, would last a lifetime of lunches.
There were two styles; one a pocket, the other a wrap. Both seal with Velcro tabs. We actually ate our carefully bundled sandwiches just before we left the truck up the Rees Valley start our climb, so the wraps stayed back in the vehicle on this trip. Since then we have given them a good try out on many outings and not a crumb nor drop of relish have worked their way out. The wraps and pockets have a non toxic water resistant sheen on the inner side of the material which makes for easy cleaning. Laid out the wraps also provide a clean surface to place or prepare food on while camping.
They are very useful for those that often make their own lunch for work, or for the kids to take to school. They definitely have worked for us on day trips out and about, knocked around in a pack, and I am sure they would be useful on longer trips into the outdoors. Using them will not save the planet but it sure feels good to be cutting down on plastic and using something that will last.

I hate plastic wrap! It’s fiddly and annoying and difficult for your kids to open. Not to mention that it’s not great for the environment. 4MyEarth has calculated that the average child would use about 105m of plastic wrap a year! To help us to our bit when it comes to reducing waste 4MyEarth have created reusable wraps that are an environmentally friendly way to wrap your sandwiches and snacks.
4MyEarth have sandwich wraps, sandwich pockets as well as snack pockets and snack wraps. They also have lunch bags and lunch sacks to meet the needs of the whole family. We reviewed a medium sized sandwich wrap and one of the 100% cotton lunch bags. The medium wrap easily fits a normal sized sandwich (ie whole bread size – no need to stack!) and you simply fold in the sides and then the bottom and seal the top with the Velcro. This is great for little fingers as it is so simple to open (no need to mess around with fiddly plastic wrap). The wrap has a label to write your name on, and when opened up becomes a clean placemat to eat your food off. The sandwich wrap is lightweight yet extremely strong so is able to be used again and again. It is able to be wiped clean or washed by hand or in the machine. The material used is polyester and is non-toxic and safe. The wraps come in a range of colours (pink, blue or olive) and they have a kid’s range of materials too. We tested the wrap on a trip to the zoo recently. I made tomato sandwiches and wrapped one with the wrap and the other in plastic wrap. I rarely make tomato sandwiches to take out and about as I hate it when they go soggy, so I thought this would be a good comparison. The 4MyEarth sandwich wrap kept the sandwich fresh and more importantly, dry - barely soggy at all! The sandwich in the plastic wrap was quite soggy and I ended up throwing it away. I was hugely impressed with the eco-wrap. The wraps are also great for wrapping fruit so that it doesn’t get battered and bruised in lunchboxes and bags. But my favourite use of the eco-wrap is for my cheese block! I hate it when you end up cutting off chunks of cheese that has gone hard and/or mouldy from sitting in the fridge (especially with the price of cheese these days – who can afford to cut off bits!!). Using the eco-wrap to wrap the cheese block and store in the fridge – my cheese has never been happier! We also reviewed the gorgeous 100% cotton lunch bags. These are so much nicer and lighter than a bulky lunchbox. We received a gorgeous pink daisy bag and my 3 yr old daughter fell in love with it – and in fact it became her handbag for the first few days. It now carries snacks as well as her lunch (plus the odd toy that sneaks in!). It has a polyester lining that pulls out so is easy to clean. It even has a small inside pocket for a small ice brick with Velcro closure so that you can keep the food chilled if you need to. With a zip to close and a strong handle, the bag has many uses beyond a lunch bag. The bag is also machine washable and dries quickly. I found the 4MyEarth products really fabulous.
They are functional and affordable but also stylish and fun. They are easy for kids to use and will easy pay for themselves in no time. I really recommend giving the wraps a try – you’ll be amazed at how much your food loves them, and the environment will too. And we all need to do our bit for Earth. As Marcia from 4MyEarth says on her website – there is no Planet B!

I have now purchased a sandwich pocket and snack pocket for my neices for christmas. Both products are easy to use and to clean which is a big bonus and they don't take up much space in my kitchen. I also love the excellent service and free postage.

Thanks for the prompt delivery of my order. I had purchased lunch wraps 2 years ago. My grandson aged 9 then has used them everyday since for school lunch,picnics etc. They are still like new.
He is responsible for making his own lunch and enjoys the ease of care.The big plus is no paper rubbish to dispose of.

I have been meaning to send this for ages so taking a moment to do it now!!! Just like to say I was lucky enough to win 3 sandwich pockets of yours through an AA online competition and.. I am loving them!!!
My 2.5yr old son finds them so easy to use (loves undoing and doing back up the velcro to get his little goodies out), they take up less room and are lighter to carry around in the nappy bag than a container does (and we all want our nappy bags to be lighter!!), he thinks they are super special (great for luring him into the car seat or pram with the promise of his sandwich pocket filled with mystery surprises inside!), I don't need to worry about him dropping the container and losing the lid as it rolls away into no-mans-land, you feel great about using them for the impact on the environment, love the colours we have - pink for his little sister when she gets bigger, blue for him, green for daddy and we were also super lucky to win a sandwich wrap off your FB page competition for referring friends - so now Mummy has one too - a green one for mummy :)

These are used every grocery shop and outing for my little man now...I was actually freaking out this morning wondering where a pocket had gone and dreading that my little man had dropped it overboard when riding in the pram - but alas I found it in the car - phew!! I promptly put names and our ph number on them when got back inside!
Now I only have one problem - making sure they are washed and dry ready for the next days use! :) ( However that problem isn't a biggie as they are pretty quick drying!

I love the bright funky designs, the fact the are so easy to use and wash, and that I am helping one little bit to save the environment. I was surprised that the food actually stayed so fresh- even the next day lunchbox sandwiches are perfect!
I am also surprised by the versatility of the products, we not only use them for food, but the Lunch Bag we have used as an emergency Bag for hospital visits, it keeps a change of clothes and medicines as well as snacks in it!
