I purchased a sandwich pocket and think it’s great! It keeps bread really fresh, it’s easy to clean and easy for kids to open, plus it looks funky too! Will be looking to purchase some more in the future.

Hi there,
We wanted to drop you a line just to say how pleased we were with the wraps and snack pockets. What a great idea, they are so easy to clean and we feel we’re doing our bit for the environment at the same time. Our 6 year old son was so proud of his unusual lunch box that he spent a good deal of time showing it off to all his class mates. Its great not to be clogging his already full school bag up with a bulky heavy box.

We were given some 4MyEarth eco-friendly cotton sandwich bags to try out on a recent mountaineering trip. I like the idea, cut down on the endless plastic bags we all seem to use. You can only re-use zip lock bags so many times. These however, would last a lifetime of lunches. There are two styles; one a pocket, the other a wrap. Both seal with Velcro tabs.
We actually ate our carefully bundled sandwiches just before we left the truck up the Rees Valley start our climb, so the wraps stayed back in the vehicle on this trip. Since then we have given them a good try out on many outings and not a crumb nor drop of relish have worked their way out.
The wraps and pockets have a non toxic water resistant sheen on the inner side of the material which makes for easy cleaning. Laid out the wraps also provide a clean surface to place or prepare food on while camping. They are very useful for those that often make their own lunch for work, or for the kids to take to school. They definitely have worked for us on day trips out and about, knocked around in a pack, and I am sure they would be useful on longer trips into the outdoors. Using them will not save the planet but it sure feels good to be cutting down on plastic and using something that will last.

Oh yes (I am happy with the wraps), my daughter was very pleased to have it popped into her lunchbox – the MOST wonderful thing for me is that my cupboard is not stuffed full of plastic containers anymore as these little beauties fold up flat and don’t take up much room.

Sandwich made and into 4myearth wrap at 8.00am on Saturday - crammed into my backpack and with the sun beating down it was going to be interesting to see how my sandwich was going to hold up. I had seen the state of previous glad-wrapped sandwiches on other MTB rides. My intention was to have my lunch break at the only aid-station some 52 kms into the ride and prior to the last hill climb but didn't eat it (the sausages on the BBQ looked very inviting). So at the end of the ride and some 8 hours later I had my sandwich at the finish line. I unwrapped the wrap to find my sandwich in fantastic shape - it was still as fresh as when first made and tasted great, so thumbs up to 4myearth and I will be using these from now on - what a fantastic innovation.

Something so simple but SO effective.
The food are securely packed in these wraps and pockets and the lunch bag keeps all the lunch in good order. I like how the lunch bag keeps the items up right when packing the food in the children’s back pack. The wraps, pockets and lunch bags are easy to clean and do not harbour food in any creases. I love the colour options of the lunch bags and the option I have now, NOT to use Glad wrap !!

The parcel with our sandwich wraps arrived yesterday - great service, and my three daughters think they're "cool". I heard about '4myearth' through an ad in a local paper. It was in amongst various other articles and ads on "green living". I don't like to use plastic, and was wondering what the alternatives were to paper, (which does add up financially, plus often the so-called lunch paper is waxed).

The stuff only took a few days to arrive. I really like the lunch bag. It is a good size to fit everything in for my daughter's lunch. The snack pockets are great and I will order more. The sandwich wraps are excellent for wrapping up fragile fruits, like starfruit or grapes, so they stay looking good and don't get as battered in the boys lunch boxes. Thanks for the great service.

I take a packed lunch to work every day. I make my lunch the evening before. It sits in the fridge all night, then on my desk at work until lunchtime. I was nervous about the sandwich wrap keeping my sammies fresh that long. However, I have been very impressed! My sandwiches keep very fresh without going soggy overnight. Even plastic wrap can't do that. They work superbly well.

I’m emailing to thank you for introducing me to your wonderful lunch wraps and bags and feedback from the expert (my 11 yr old son) says they keep this sandwiches and pita pockets as fresh as cling film. The best thing is I have further reduced my carbon footprint and am no-longer guilty of using cling film and creating more landfill so I am very happy about that. Also the fact that the Velcro holds it all in tight also helps to keep it fresh and being able to throw then in the washing machine is fantastic ( or in a hurry wash under the tap and dry with a tea towel) Good on you for providing this wonderful product.

You asked for my feedback once we had received the sandwich pocket. It is FAN TAS TIC!! A truly gorgeous addition to my wee girls lunch box and so much easier to use for wee fingers than gladwrap . not to mention for the environment. I will be ordering more soon. I was reminded by your article on the front page of the Wanaka Messenger that I wanted to send you my reference. I met you at the A&P Show and told you how impressed I was with your eco wraps. I even take them tramping! Food stays fresh & cool in them, not soggy like plastic. They save space in my handbag rather than using bulky containers and are great in my son’s lunchbox. I no longer fish cling wrap out of school uniform pockets or the washing machine. I highly recommend them. They wash and dry quickly and have withstood daily use for over 3 months with no signs of wearing.
